PayDM vs Popcall
Popcall combines paid messages with per-minute video and voice calls. PayDM deliberately focuses on one paid written message, with the Creator’s price fixed in advance and a standard 8-day window.

Why PayDM is different from Popcall
Popcall and PayDM both credit 80% to the person replying, but Popcall combines paid messages with per-minute video and voice calls. PayDM has no calls at all. It is one written message with a Creator-set price fixed before the buyer pays, so there’s nothing to bill by the minute and no live availability to manage.
Popcall’s current Help Center states a 2-day (48-hour) message window, working as a hold that’s simply never charged if the creator misses it. PayDM’s 8-day window is longer and ends in an explicit automatic refund, which keeps the outcome the same regardless of the reason for the missed reply.
How PayDM works
- The Creator chooses a price.
- The buyer pays and sends the message.
- The Creator answers.
- If no answer arrives within 8 days, the buyer is automatically refunded.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the main difference between PayDM and Popcall?
Popcall combines paid messages with per-minute video and voice calls; its current Help Center states a 2-day (48-hour) reply window for messages. PayDM is one paid written message only, with a fixed price and an 8-day window.
Does Popcall pay creators the same share as PayDM?
Both list an 80% creator share: Popcall states creators keep 80% of their earnings, and PayDM credits 80% of the message price to the creator, or 90% in the Ambassador Program on request.
What happens if a Popcall message isn’t answered?
Popcall’s current Help Center states creators have 2 days (48 hours) to reply; a temporary hold is placed and only charged if the creator replies in time, otherwise it is released. PayDM issues an automatic refund if no reply arrives within 8 days.
Should I use both?
They can coexist: Popcall for live calls and fast messages, PayDM for a written question with a fixed price and a longer reply-or-refund window.
