Best Linktree alternatives for creators in 2026

Comparison Updated 1 Oct 2026 12 min read

Switch only if an alternative fixes the specific reason Linktree no longer fits. If the seller fee on product sales is the problem, Stan Store and Beacons Creator Plus take 0% in exchange for a flat monthly price. If you need your own domain, which Linktree does not offer, Campsite.bio Pro, Beacons Creator and Carrd Pro Standard all include one. If recurring cost is the problem, Lnk.Bio's free plan or one-time Mini licence is hard to undercut. If none of these is your problem, staying on Linktree is a reasonable answer.

These are matches, not rankings. Each row is a reason to switch paired with the tool that addresses it, based on each vendor's own pricing and help pages.

Should you actually replace Linktree?

Often not. Switching costs time: every link rebuilt, every bio updated, every old QR code and campaign checked. It is worth it only when it removes a real limitation. Stay on Linktree if:

  • you mainly need simple link routing, and the free plan already does enough;
  • its integrations fit your workflow;
  • you do not care whether the page lives on your own domain;
  • you do not sell digital products, or your sales are small enough that the seller fee is not causing friction;
  • migrating would add work without fixing a specific problem.

Switch when you can name the problem in one sentence — "I need my own domain", "the fee on my course sales is too high", "my bio page is really a shop now" — and an alternative fixes exactly that. If you cannot name it, the problem is probably not the tool.

Linktree in 2026: what you're replacing

  • Plans: Free; Starter $8/mo ($6/mo billed annually); Pro $15/mo ($12/mo); Premium $35/mo ($30/mo), per Linktree's pricing page, which can show local-currency prices.
  • Seller fees, scoped correctly: on digital products and courses, Linktree takes a percentage of the sale price by plan — 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium — with Stripe's processing fee on top. For shops and affiliate links, its fee is a percentage of the commission you earn, not the order value. Details are in Linktree's fee article.
  • Domain: your page stays at linktr.ee/username. Linktree does not offer custom domains.
  • Eligibility: selling digital products, bookings and courses is available in a listed set of countries, while shops, sponsored links and affiliate earnings are US-only, according to who can use Linktree's Earn features.

None of this makes Linktree a poor tool; these are the trade-offs a replacement has to improve on to be worth the move.

A note on older lists. Some "Linktree alternative" roundups still recommend tools that have since closed. Koji, for example, was acquired by Linktree and sunset on January 31, 2024. Every tool below was checked as active, with its pricing and features confirmed on its own site, on October 1, 2026.

Best Linktree alternative by reason for switching

Work down the questions and stop at the first "yes":

  1. Is Linktree failing at something specific? If not, stay. Re-check in six months.
  2. Has selling products, courses or coaching become the main job of the page? Stan Store, or Beacons if you also want email and creator tools in one place.
  3. Is the seller fee on your sales the friction? Compare a flat-fee plan: Stan Store, Beacons Creator Plus, or Linktree's own Premium plan, which also takes 0%.
  4. Do you need your own domain? Campsite.bio Pro to stay close to a link page; Beacons Creator for a creator hub; Carrd for a designed mini-site.
  5. Is the monthly bill the problem? Lnk.Bio: free with unlimited links, or a one-time licence.
  6. Is scheduling posts the bigger part of your workflow? Later, whose link page sits inside the scheduler.
  7. Do you just want this link to earn from one kind of request? You may not need a new link tool at all; see below.

Trying to monetize one specific type of request?

You may not need to replace Linktree. Keep the bio hub you already use and add PayDM as one destination for paid private questions.

Beacons: closest all-in-one creator alternative

Fixes: wanting more than a link list — a store, email and a custom domain in the same account.

Pricing: Free; Creator $10/mo or $100/yr; Creator Plus $30/mo or $300/yr, per Beacons' pricing page. Creator includes a free custom domain for the link page and store product URLs.

Seller fee: 9% on Free and Creator, 0% on Creator Plus, with processor fees on top, as stated in Beacons' transaction fee article.

Gain vs Linktree: your own domain at $10/mo, and more creator-business tools in one place.

Lose or keep: on Free and Creator, the seller fee is still a percentage. It is not automatically cheaper than Linktree; that depends on which plan you compare and how much you sell.

Stan Store: if selling is the priority

Fixes: a bio page that has become a shop for digital products, courses, coaching or memberships.

Pricing: Creator $29/mo ($300/yr), Creator Pro $99/mo ($948/yr), per Stan's plan comparison. No free plan.

Seller fee: Stan states it takes 0% of transactions; Stripe or PayPal processing still applies.

Gain vs Linktree: checkout, course builder, calendar bookings and lead magnets on the entry plan.

Lose: it is a storefront, not the closest simple Linktree clone. The fixed cost applies before any sales, and the store stays at stan.store; Stan does not support custom domains, only forwarding one.

Campsite.bio: if you want a custom domain without building a website

Fixes: the linktr.ee address, while keeping the familiar link-page format.

Pricing: Free; Pro $7/mo; Pro+ $24/mo, per Campsite.bio's pricing page. Custom domain and opt-in forms start at Pro; analytics history is 14 days on Free, 60 days on Pro and lifetime on Pro+.

Seller fee: the pricing page currently lists "0% for a limited time" on payment links. That is a temporary promotion, not a permanent feature.

Gain vs Linktree: your own domain at a low fixed cost, with little else to learn.

Lose: its selling tools (request and tip links) are lighter than Linktree's digital-product checkout.

Lnk.Bio: if recurring cost is the problem

Fixes: paying a monthly subscription for a page of links.

Pricing: Free with unlimited links; Mini $0.99/mo or $9.99 lifetime; Unique $24.99 one time, per Lnk.Bio's features page.

Gain vs Linktree: one-time pricing, so no recurring bill for the paid features.

Lose: the shop and a custom domain are add-ons; check their current terms and prices on the features page before moving a selling setup.

Carrd: if you want a real mini-site

Fixes: not wanting another bio-link platform at all, but a small website you control.

Pricing: free on a carrd.co address; Pro Lite $9/yr; Pro Standard $19/yr, which adds custom domains, forms, widgets and embeds, analytics and meta tags, per Carrd's Pro page.

Gain vs Linktree: design freedom and your own domain for a low yearly price.

Lose: Carrd is not a creator storefront. Selling works through embedded tools such as Stripe, PayPal or Gumroad, and you build and maintain the page yourself.

Later Link in Bio: if social scheduling matters more than commerce

Fixes: running links and scheduling in two separate tools.

Pricing: Link in Bio is included on Later's Free plan, per Later's features by plan; paid plans start at $25/mo, or $18.75/mo billed annually, on Later's pricing page.

Gain vs Linktree: a link page that mirrors your Instagram and TikTok feed, so each post can link to its own URL, managed next to your schedule.

Lose: it is not a checkout, and a custom domain is not listed among its Link in Bio features. Free shows a Later banner and up to 3 months of click data.

Linktree vs alternatives: switch-reason comparison

Pricing and features checked October 1, 2026. US-dollar prices at the monthly rate unless stated. Payment-processing fees are separate for every tool. Linktree is the control row.

Migration effort is our editorial judgement of the rebuild work involved, not a measured figure. For dollar amounts at $250, $500 and $1,000 of monthly sales under each fee model, see the fee arithmetic in link-in-bio tools for creators.

How to migrate away from Linktree without breaking your funnel

  1. Inventory every destination on your Linktree, including hidden, scheduled and archived links.
  2. Keep the final destination URLs exactly as they are, so only the page in front of them changes.
  3. Keep your UTM conventions, so before-and-after traffic stays comparable.
  4. Rebuild the replacement page in the same order, with the most important link first.
  5. Test every link from the new page.
  6. Test the page on a phone, inside the Instagram and TikTok in-app browsers where most bio clicks happen.
  7. Test forms and email capture end to end, and check that sign-ups reach your email tool.
  8. Test store and checkout flows with a real or test purchase, if you sell.
  9. Verify analytics are recording clicks and visits on the new page.
  10. Update every bio link: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, email signature, podcast notes.
  11. Review old QR codes and campaigns separately. Printed codes and past posts still point at linktr.ee. Linktree does not forward its address to a custom domain, so keep the old page live with a clear link to the new one until that traffic fades.
  12. Monitor traffic for a few weeks and compare clicks per destination with your Linktree baseline.

Where PayDM fits

PayDM is not a Linktree alternative, and it is not in the list above. It is not a bio-link builder and does not replace Linktree, Beacons, Carrd or any other hub. You can keep whichever one you use as the routing layer and add PayDM as one external destination on it, as an ordinary link; there is no native integration.

Its job is one paid private question. Someone pays your price plus a 5% service fee to ask you one question, and you answer asynchronously, in writing, within 8 days, or the payment is refunded automatically. There is no calendar and no full consultation. The standard split credits 80% of the price to you. If your reason for searching was "I want my bio link to earn", this may solve it without a migration.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free Linktree alternative?

For plain routing, Lnk.Bio's free plan has unlimited links. Later's free plan suits creators who also schedule posts, and Campsite.bio's free plan adds request and tip links. Free plans usually show the tool's branding and keep less analytics history.

What is the cheapest Linktree alternative?

Lnk.Bio, if you want paid features without a subscription: Mini is $9.99 one time. Carrd Pro Lite is $9 a year, but your own domain needs Pro Standard at $19 a year.

Which Linktree alternative supports a custom domain?

Campsite.bio from Pro ($7/mo), Beacons from Creator ($10/mo) and Carrd from Pro Standard ($19/yr). Lnk.Bio offers one as a paid add-on. Stan Store does not, and neither does Linktree.

What is the best Linktree alternative for Instagram?

Any of them works in an Instagram bio. Later is the one built around Instagram content: its link page mirrors your feed so each post links to its own URL. If Instagram is mostly where people ask you questions, see how to use a link in bio for paid questions.

What is the best Linktree alternative for selling products?

Stan Store if selling is the main job (0% Stan fee, $29/mo), or Beacons if you also want email and a custom domain in one account. Linktree Premium also takes 0% on digital products, so compare it before moving.

Should I switch from Linktree?

Only if you can name a specific problem an alternative fixes: the seller fee, the missing custom domain, a shop that has outgrown a link page, cost, or a scheduling workflow. Otherwise, the migration work is unlikely to pay off.

Can I use my own website instead of Linktree?

Yes. A simple page on your own domain, built with Carrd or your existing site, can do the same job and outlast any one platform. You take on the design and upkeep.

Can I keep Linktree and add PayDM?

Yes. Add your PayDM page as one link on your Linktree. Nothing about your Linktree changes; see how to monetize your Linktree with paid questions.
