Best link-in-bio tools for creators in 2026
There is no single best link-in-bio tool, because the products now do different jobs. If you only need to route followers to a few links, a free plan from Lnk.Bio, Linktree or Campsite.bio covers it. If you want to sell from the page, Stan Store and Beacons are built for that, with very different fee models. Later pairs a free link page with social scheduling, and Carrd gives you a cheap, more owned one-page site on your own domain. Choose by the job the page has to perform, then check what that job costs on each tool's current plans.
Quick answer: best fit by job
| If the page mainly needs to… | Best fit | Also consider |
|---|---|---|
| Just route followers to a few links | Lnk.Bio Free or Linktree Free | Campsite.bio Free |
| Be an all-in-one creator hub | Beacons | Linktree paid plans |
| Sell digital products, courses or coaching | Stan Store | Beacons, Linktree |
| Sit alongside social scheduling | Later Link in Bio | — |
| Cost as little as possible on a paid plan | Lnk.Bio Mini (one-time option) | Carrd Pro Lite |
| Use your own domain on a link page | Campsite.bio Pro | Beacons Creator, Carrd Pro Standard |
| Be a fully designed, owned mini-site | Carrd Pro Standard | — |
| Offer paid private access, such as one paid question | Keep your current hub and add a paid-access link | See where PayDM fits |
These are fits, not scores. Each row follows from what the tool documents on its own pricing and help pages, summarised in the comparison tables below.
What a link-in-bio tool actually needs to do in 2026
A link-in-bio page started as a list of buttons behind the one link a social profile allows. That is still the core job, but the products have spread into overlapping categories, and two tools that both call themselves "link in bio" can be built for very different work:
- Link router. A clean page of links with click counts. Cheap or free, little to configure.
- Creator operating system. Links plus a store, email, media kit and other tools in one account.
- Creator storefront. A page designed around checkout: products, courses, bookings, memberships.
- Social-media suite. A link page bundled with scheduling and analytics for the social accounts it sits behind.
- Owned mini-site. A small website you design, on your own domain, with the tools you embed.
- Paid-access destination. A single-purpose page you link to from any of the above, such as a booking page or a paid-question page.
Why older comparisons mislead. This category changes quickly, and some older "best link in bio" lists still recommend tools that no longer exist. Koji, for example, was acquired by Linktree and sunset on January 31, 2024. Prices and seller fees also move, which is why every figure on this page comes from the tool's own pricing or help pages.
Quick comparison: 7 link-in-bio tools for creators
Pricing and features checked October 1, 2026. Prices are in US dollars at the monthly rate unless stated; most tools discount annual billing, and some show local-currency prices by region. Payment-processing fees (Stripe, PayPal) are separate everywhere.

Where two tools charge in different ways, the table says so rather than forcing a single number. A percentage seller fee, a flat subscription and a one-time licence are not directly comparable; the fee arithmetic section shows what the percentage models cost at a few sales levels.
Already have a link in bio?
You don't need to replace it to monetize one specific kind of request. Add PayDM as one destination and let someone pay to ask you one private question.
How we compared the tools
This is a desk comparison, not a hands-on test. We did not measure load speed, conversion or support quality, and the page makes no claims about them. Each tool was read against its own current pricing and help pages, checked on October 1, 2026, along six dimensions:
- Native monetization: what you can sell on the page itself, without another tool.
- Cost and fee model: subscription, seller percentage, one-time licence, or a mix.
- Audience capture: whether you can collect emails, and where they go.
- Custom domain and ownership: whether the page can live on your own domain.
- Analytics and attribution: how much click and traffic data you get, and for how long.
- Simplicity and integrations: how much the tool tries to do, and what it connects to.
There is no overall score. A tool that is excellent at one job can be the wrong pick for another, and a weighted total would hide exactly the trade-off you need to see. The seven tools were chosen to cover each category above; other good tools exist.
Linktree
What it is: the best-known link router, which has added selling, email collection and social tools on its paid plans.
Pricing: Free; Starter $8/mo ($6/mo billed annually); Pro $15/mo ($12/mo annually); Premium $35/mo ($30/mo annually), according to Linktree's pricing page, which may show local-currency prices in some regions.
Monetization model: when you sell digital products and courses, Linktree takes a percentage of the sale price that depends on the plan: 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium. Stripe's processing fee is charged on top. For shops and affiliate links, Linktree's fee is a percentage of the commission you earn rather than the order value, and those features are US-only. Digital products are available only in certain countries. All of this is set out in Linktree's fee help article.
Strengths: familiar to audiences, quick to set up, and a contact form on every plan, with Mailchimp and Google Sheets sync on Pro and Premium.
Trade-offs: the page always lives on linktr.ee; Linktree does not offer custom domains. On the Free plan, the 12% fee on product sales is the highest seller percentage among the tools here. Already using Linktree and considering a switch? Compare Linktree alternatives for creators by the reason you would switch.
Fits: creators who mainly route traffic and may sell occasionally. If you already use Linktree and want to add a paid-question link to it, see how to monetize your Linktree with paid questions.
Beacons
What it is: a creator operating system: link page, store, email marketing and other creator tools in one account.
Pricing: Free; Creator $10/mo or $100/yr; Creator Plus $30/mo or $300/yr, per Beacons' pricing page. Higher tiers exist but are not needed for this comparison.
Monetization model: a 9% seller fee on Free and Creator, and 0% on Creator Plus, with Stripe or PayPal processing fees on top, as Beacons explains in its transaction fee article.
Strengths: one account covers the link page, a store and email. Creator already includes a free custom domain for the link page and store product URLs; Creator Plus removes the seller fee and adds memberships and higher email-send limits.
Trade-offs: the 9% seller fee stays on Creator; removing it takes Creator Plus. Doing many jobs in one place also means more to configure than a plain link router.
Fits: creators who want one hub for links, selling and email and are comfortable either paying a percentage or a flat $30 a month.
Stan Store
What it is: a creator storefront rather than a link router. The page is built around checkout: digital products, courses, coaching bookings and memberships.
Pricing: Creator $29/mo ($300/yr) and Creator Pro $99/mo ($948/yr), per Stan's Creator vs Creator Pro page. There is no free plan.
Monetization model: Stan states it takes 0% of transactions; you pay the flat subscription, and Stripe or PayPal charge their processing fees.
Strengths: the Creator plan already includes a course builder, calendar and booking tools, lead magnets, memberships and store analytics. Creator Pro adds email broadcasts and flows, discount codes, upsells, affiliate management and ad pixels.
Trade-offs: a fixed monthly cost before your first sale, and the store stays on stan.store; Stan says you cannot use a custom domain, only forward one to it. If you mostly need a list of links, it is more tool than the job needs.
Fits: creators whose bio link is primarily a shop for products, courses or coaching.
Later Link in Bio
What it is: a social-media scheduling suite with a link page attached. The link page can mirror your Instagram and TikTok feed so each post links to its own URL.
Pricing: Link in Bio is available on Later's Free plan. Paid Later plans start at $25/mo, or $18.75/mo billed annually, on Later's pricing page; those plans are priced mainly for scheduling.
What each plan adds: according to Later's Link in Bio features by plan, Free includes unlimited buttons, links on each Instagram post, a TikTok feed, Google Analytics tracking and up to 3 months of click data, with a Later banner. Starter removes the banner, extends click data to a year and adds SEO settings and custom UTM parameters.
Trade-offs: it is a link page, not a checkout, so selling happens wherever the buttons point. A custom domain is not listed among its Link in Bio features.
Fits: creators who already schedule posts in Later, or want to, and need the link page to match their feed.
Campsite.bio
What it is: a link router with a low-priced paid tier that includes your own domain.
Pricing: Free; Pro $7/mo; Pro+ $24/mo, per Campsite.bio's pricing page.
Monetization model: request links and tip / support links, paid through a connected payment provider. The pricing page lists the transaction fee as "0% for a limited time", which is a promotion, not a permanent feature; check it before relying on it.
Strengths: custom domain and opt-in email forms start at Pro. Analytics history grows with the plan: 14 days on Free, 60 days on Pro, lifetime on Pro+.
Trade-offs: its selling tools are lighter than a storefront's.
Fits: creators who want a clean link page on their own domain for a few dollars a month.
Lnk.Bio
What it is: a low-cost link router with unusual one-time pricing.
Pricing: Free with unlimited links; Mini $0.99/mo or $9.99 lifetime; Unique $24.99 one time, per Lnk.Bio's features page.
What paid plans add: scheduling, advanced analytics and more pages on Mini; branding removal and deeper customisation on Unique. Commerce and newsletter features, such as a shop add-on and newsletter sync, are also available. A custom domain is a separate paid add-on; check its current price on the features page.
Trade-offs: the shop is an add-on rather than the core of the product, so its fee and plan requirements need checking before you build an offer around it.
Fits: creators who mainly route traffic and would rather pay once than subscribe.
Carrd
What it is: a one-page website builder. It is not a creator-commerce platform, but it is an inexpensive way to own the page your bio points to.
Pricing: free sites on a carrd.co address; Pro Lite $9/yr; Pro Standard $19/yr, per Carrd's Pro page.
What Pro Standard adds: custom domains, forms, widgets and embeds, analytics and meta tags. Selling works through embedded third-party tools such as Stripe, PayPal or Gumroad, each with its own fees.
Trade-offs: you design and maintain the page yourself, and there is no built-in store, course host or booking system. Feature for feature, it does not compete with Stan or Beacons.
Fits: creators who care about design and ownership and are happy to embed the tools they need.
Which link-in-bio tool fits your creator business model?
Start from what the page has to do, in this order:
- Do you only need to route people to links? Use a simple link page: Lnk.Bio, Linktree Free or Campsite.bio Free.
- Do you need to sell products or services on the page itself? Use a storefront or creator OS: Stan Store or Beacons, or Linktree if you sell occasionally.
- Do you also need social scheduling? Use the social-suite route: Later's link page alongside its scheduler.
- Do you need full control over design and the domain? Build a mini-site: Carrd Pro Standard.
- Do you want people to pay for one private answer? Keep whichever hub you already use and add a paid-access destination to it as one more link.
By job
- Routing. Any of the seven works. Paying here buys removal of branding, longer analytics history or a custom domain, not more links.
- Email. Check where addresses end up. Linktree syncs to Mailchimp and Google Sheets on Pro and Premium; Later connects to Mailchimp on Free; Stan sends broadcasts only on Creator Pro; Beacons limits sends by plan; Carrd's forms need Pro Standard.
- Digital products. Compare the fee model with your expected sales: a percentage on Linktree or Beacons Free, a flat fee on Stan or Beacons Creator Plus.
- Coaching and services. Stan includes calendar and booking tools on its entry plan. On a router, link out to a booking tool instead.
- Memberships. Stan includes them; Beacons lists them on Creator Plus. If the membership is the whole business, a dedicated platform may fit better; see Patreon alternatives for one-time payments for that trade-off.
- Affiliates. Posting affiliate links works on any router. Linktree's native shop and affiliate features are US-only, and its fee is a share of your commission. Stan Creator Pro's affiliate management is the reverse: it lets other people promote your products.
- An owned page. Carrd on your own domain, or Campsite.bio Pro and Beacons Creator if you want a link-page format on a custom domain.
What percentage fees actually cost at different sales levels
Percentage fees are cheap when sales are small and grow with every sale; flat subscriptions cost the same at any level. The table below isolates that one line of cost, using monthly-billing prices and the seller fees on digital products quoted above.
| Setup | Fee model | $250 gross / month | $500 gross / month | $1,000 gross / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Linktree Free | 12% of sales | $30 | $60 | $120 |
| Linktree Pro | $15/mo + 9% | $37.50 | $60 | $105 |
| Linktree Premium | $35/mo + 0% | $35 | $35 | $35 |
| Beacons Free | 9% of sales | $22.50 | $45 | $90 |
| Beacons Creator | $10/mo + 9% | $32.50 | $55 | $100 |
| Beacons Creator Plus | $30/mo + 0% | $30 | $30 | $30 |
| Stan Creator | $29/mo + 0% | $29 | $29 | $29 |
Where the lines cross, as fee arithmetic only:
- Linktree Free (12%) and Linktree Premium ($35) cost the same at about $292 of monthly sales.
- Linktree Free and Linktree Pro ($15 + 9%) cost the same at $500.
- Beacons Free (9%) and Beacons Creator Plus ($30) cost the same at about $333.
- Stan Creator ($29) matches Linktree Free at about $242 and Beacons Free at about $322.
- Beacons Creator always costs $10 more than Beacons Free in fees alone, because the seller fee is the same; the difference is in features.
This is arithmetic, not a recommendation. The table compares platform and subscription fees only. It leaves out payment-processing fees, tax, annual-billing discounts, and the fact that these plans include different features and different checkout and product capabilities. A crossover point does not mean you should switch or upgrade there; it only marks where two fee lines meet.
Link-in-bio tool vs creator storefront vs your own website
| Option | You control | The platform controls | Fits when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Link-in-bio tool | Which links appear, in what order | The address, the layout options and any fees | The page is a signpost to things that live elsewhere |
| Creator storefront | Products, prices and the checkout | The address, the fee model and the feature set | The page is mainly where you sell |
| Your own website | Domain, design, data and integrations | Little, beyond your host and embedded tools | You want a durable home that outlasts any one platform |
These are not exclusive. A common setup is a cheap link page in the bio, a storefront or other selling tool behind one of its links, and a website for anything long-lived. A link-in-bio page can stand in for a website when all you need is a signpost, but if the page is where people judge whether to hire you or buy from you, owning the domain becomes more important.
Where PayDM fits
PayDM is not a link-in-bio builder, and you do not need to replace the one you have. Linktree, Beacons, Carrd or any other hub can stay your routing layer; PayDM is simply one destination inside it, added as an ordinary link the same way you would add a booking page. There is no native integration with any of these tools.
Its job is narrow: bounded private access. Someone pays to ask you one private question and gets a written reply. There is no calendar to manage and no full consultation to run.
On PayDM, the asker pays your price plus a 5% service fee. You reply within 8 days, or the payment is refunded automatically. The standard split credits 80% of the price to you. It only makes sense if people already ask you for personal advice; most creators do not need it. Placement and wording for that link are covered in how to use a link in bio for paid questions, and the creator side is on PayDM for Creators.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best free link-in-bio tool?
It depends on what free has to include. Lnk.Bio and Linktree both have free plans with unlimited links; Later's free plan suits creators who also schedule posts; Campsite.bio's free plan has request and tip links. Free plans usually show the tool's branding and keep less analytics history.
Which link-in-bio tool is best for selling digital products?
Storefronts and creator OS tools: Stan Store (0% Stan fee, $29/mo) or Beacons (9% on Free and Creator, 0% on Creator Plus). Linktree also sells digital products, with a fee that depends on the plan. Which costs less depends on your sales volume; see the fee arithmetic.
Does Linktree take a percentage of sales?
On digital products and courses, yes: 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium, plus Stripe's processing fee. For shops and affiliate links, its fee is a share of the commission you earn, and those features are US-only.
Can I use a custom domain for my link in bio?
On some tools. Campsite.bio includes one from Pro, Beacons from Creator and Carrd from Pro Standard; Lnk.Bio sells it as an add-on. Linktree and Stan Store do not support custom domains, though Stan suggests forwarding your domain to the store.
Can a link-in-bio page replace a website?
For a simple signpost, often yes. If the page needs to carry your reputation, rank in search or outlast any one platform, a site on your own domain is safer. Carrd sits between the two.
Can I add PayDM to Linktree, Beacons, Stan or another bio page?
Yes, as an ordinary link. There is no native integration; you paste your PayDM page URL as one item on whichever link page you use.
